The Branding Process
The object of this project was to re brand the company of our choosing. I chose one of my favorite stores, Best Buy. This re branding process included extensive market research as well as a competitor audit.
Tagline Development
The first step taken was the research followed by the selection of an appropriate tagline experience quality.
Name Development
Next came the selection of the new company name. After going over numerous options I settled on Novum (Latin for New).
Logo Development
After the name and tagline were created I created the logo. The logo is based on a purely geometric system and the O has been cut open to represent both radio waves and the motion of larger home appliances.
Color Choice
The colors of the logo were chosen to give viewers a sense of energy and stability.
